On-device content
- Text, Morse results, training progress, history, and favorites are stored on the device unless you enable an optional system service.
- Live microphone audio is processed only when you start audio recognition and grant permission.
- Nearby messages travel directly between participating devices and are not public posts.
Optional Apple services
- If you enable iCloud sync, Apple processes the synchronized data through your iCloud account and system settings.
- StoreKit handles purchase and restoration for the one-time Remove Ads purchase; CyberKen does not receive your full payment-card details.
Advertising and diagnostics
The free version may display advertising. If the released build uses an advertising or diagnostics provider, its data practices, tracking status, and consent requirements must match the final App Privacy disclosure and the controls shown in the app. MORSE does not sell the text, audio, or nearby messages you create in the app.
Device permissions
- Microphone: live Morse audio recognition.
- Local network and Bluetooth, when requested: nearby device discovery and communication.
- Camera or flashlight, when requested by the installed build: visible Morse light output.
